Broken toe

I bumped onto a door ten days ago, I thought that the pain would go away by itself but since it didn't, my boss told me to see a doc. His verdict: I have a broken toe! There isn't much he can do about it except strap it up with the other toe and wear a special shoe (not a designer shoe to say the least ...). Any ideas on how to speed up the recovery of a broken toe?

Not alot you can do for a toe besides what the doc said, keep it splinted and try not to aggravate it. It will probably take a while to heal just because of the constant use, the more you stay off of it the better.

Which toe? Really need an Xray to tell if it's broke.

I dropped a 45lb plate on mine off the shoulder press, felt great, lol Still pops but it took over 6 months to sorta heal.

Trust me ONLY way is imaging, even using a tuning fork isn't enough. If there is a bruise, esp then, get a view of it.
