finger in the AZZ will make my bp spike -----i tend to just put my unit in her --and see how long till leakage then divide by 4 and round up

if u get blur vision then ur bp is shit

Buy a cheap BP cuff and stethoscope. I have been dealing with HTN and taking Atenolol for the past 14 years. Recently, my BP has been crazy high....160/110 on meds. I just got put on an additional BP med, lisinopril @ 20 mg. Kind of working....kind of. I occasionally get BP readings of 122/70, but average is 140/90. Tonight.....158/106. Anyway, I was taking my BP on our LifePack 15 and was getting inconsistent readings. Took it manually and there was significant differences in the readings. I always trust manual BP over automated. Point is, get a cuff

Elcheapo from Amazon with large cuff. Wife had it for when she was preggers with the twins. I have been using it on my forearm for years. Works just fine. Always check 3 times and average.

How do you guys check BP? I don't fit into the drugstore consoles...my FUPA gets in the way. Any recs on a good home unit that will fit my morbidly obese arms? Thanks.
