Best Bang for My Buck, 1911 Pistol

Going to be buying a matching pair of 1911s soon and would like your opinion on who makes the best one for the right price. I've been looking at Les Baer, Wilson, and Dan Wesson, but I'm open for suggestions. Detonics makes a ridiculously sexy model, but I'm not sure on the quality since their recent resurrection. Don't pretend that you don't already, hahaha. And I would, but your wife stuck me with the bill last time we met at the Motel 8 in Warwick, so I only have enough for one pair, hahaha, for real though.

Funny thing is, I told my wife I was getting matching 1911s, and she said "One for you, one for me?" to which I replied "One for my right hand, and one for my left." She didn't laugh.

Not for hire, purely for vigilante purposes. I wish to hell I could pay off the cops/feds/LE so I could go around and kill every wife-beating or child-molesting piece of shit I could find. I would have ZERO issues with killing them, hell, I could torture them in the worst ways and sleep like a log that night. Alright, gotta calm down now before this turns into a major rant.

I carried my springfield when I served and wouldn't trade it for anything. (don't get me started about army regs, my unit all carried .45ACP so ammo match not an issue). What i'd tell you is talk to someone who owns what you are looking at.
