Project BallPark Day 26
Hey yall BB here, been a sec but just cause I haven't updated doesn't mean I haven't been training. Lots of updates.
Current weight: 245.6 lbs (Total loss from start 126lbs)
Maxes:
DL- 255lbs
BP- 165lbs
OP- 155lbs
SQT- 210lbs
Took a lot of yall's advice and looked into better routines (especially regarding volume and joints). Figured out I had no idea how hypertrophy and strength building really work (apologies yall like I said I'm new); did a ton of research and nerded out a little, eventually did bit the bullet and contacted my university fitness department and got a real trainer to give me a routine, probably best money I've spent so far. I've updated the routine to this PPL split with a better focus on hypertrophy and all the issues I've had with it being weird and odd rep ranges disappeared overnight!
I really appreciate yall giving me some good direction, know I'm a dumb zoomer but jokes aside yall really did save me a ton of time and effort messing up even more, I'm more grateful than I can express. Roadworks going up as well, big back boys finally starting to look not horrible and man does it feel good to see all these years starting to show.
On the MMA front I've got a fight coming up in April so we'll see how that goes, definitely noticed my grappling getting better now that I'm getting like "real pumps" and not just training til discomfort.
Looking forward to seeing just how much I can be dudes; lets get this!
