Anyone using Sema and Reta together?

What’s up guys. Been a min.

If so how much would you start at? Sounds like Reta is better for weight loss without the appetite suppression or constipation. But some appetite suppression would be good. So thinking using both would work really well. Anyone try it yet?

Thinking 0.25mg Sema and 0.5 Reta day one. Week later start taking it twice a week until appetite suppression goes away and increasing from there based on results basically.

In all the advertisements of these products I see warnings about doing this. Since both drugs activate GLP-1 receptors, using them together would lead to redundant stimulation of that pathway, thus the side effects may significantly increase without giving any additional benefits. You body, your choice, but I would be very careful doing this. More is not always better.

Good to see you K.
Yes many people are taking a little sema with retatrutide right now for additional appetite suppression.
Retatrutide flattened me out but that's because I had some weight to lose i know many using it right now that are lean and dieting and don't suffer the same thing. You may want to try tirzepatide I hit about a month of it to see if I could maintain fullness but it knocked the shit out of food noise. I didn't miss meals but didn't really enjoy eating and felt like I had to force the water and food down to stay on track.
Not sure if any on here have used tirzepatide because most jump right on retatrutide.

Running .25 mg of reta every day and .25 mg of sema twice a week, as food noise started to get a little harsh on this prep being that I am 30 lbs bigger this year compared to last year. Calories are 1500 higher per day than they were last prep and cardio is only a fraction of what is was in the past, still getting leaner.

Appreciate the feedback. It’s for the wife btw. She did ok on Sema before. Didn’t get the sides as bad as I did but also didn’t lose much weight dispite hardly eating. Figured we would give Reta a try.

My wife had about the same results but no sides at all. The RETA has been slightly better at controlling the appetited but the weight loss is not so good either. She is up to 3mg/wk. She is going to try the Tirzepatide next. I am not so sure this stuff works for everyone. She did try some Tensofensine 500mg/d that seem to do a much better job of controlling the appetite compared to the Sema.

There does seem to be variability from person to person. Some love the sema, some the tirz, some the reta, and some will get crappy sides. Seems quite variable from person to person.

I'm interested to see what the reta does to my lipids. My cholesterol, LDL and tryglicerides were high on my last bloodwork, and Big Paul on his podcast indicated on just 1mg/week reta, all three of his numbers came down significantly. I'm hoping to do bloods this week, and I'll report, as I've been doing the reta at 0.5mg EOD for several weeks now.

I'm on just tirz and have been for several weeks. Doing much better with it than I did semaglutide. Wife hired a coach and is doing macros so to be fair I am doing them as well, I've been running about 2200 calories for the last month while on it. We have an inbody scale, 4-15 I was 290 with 17%, tested 5-16 and down to 273 and 13%. Some days I have some hunger but keeping pretty regular on making myself eat keeps that under control

Please keep us updated on the lipid profile effects

I think the efficacy on fat loss really depends on what your issue is. If you keep stuffing your face then semaglutide or tirzepatide are better suited. Most people don't realize how much damage they actually do when they eat off plan. I have had many clients diet recall what they ate when they cheated and it is often 4-5 times their daily caloric intake. Most believe they only took in an extra 1000-1500 calories when it was closer to 7500-10000.

If you are disciplined and food control is not the issue then retatrutide is better suited. I saw Dr. Soto post a study on how retatrutide had 8-9x the impact on metabolism that semaglutide did.

So far, I like the combo during prep. I daily micro dose of reta with a 2x a week micro dose of sema.
