I get something from Amazon almost every single day. It saves me a lot of time having to run to stores to pick up things that I need they just bring it right to me. I have noticed since delivery drivers are now Independent drivers sometimes those boxes seem to get beat up a lot more than when I get delivered via ups. Where I'm from they have found hundreds and hundreds of boxes just thrown out of a truck in the middle of nowhere. The problem is Amazon has lost control over the delivery process and that might be their demise.

“If your Amazon or UPS package is long overdue for delivery, it may be among thousands looted from broken-into train cars in LA and discarded by the tracks”

The only thing that can save the state of California is the San Andreas fault.
Massive earthquake that splits it in two.

Break into a family car, but a brick through a window, snatch what you're gonna asap ... and get gone.

Is it also that easy to break into a railroad car, get all of that shit in the pics out of the railroad car, break it open to see what you have, pick out what you like, AND get it and you off the premises before some form of railroad yard security responds?

Nothing in those pics looked like mine except the 3 crates of sex toys marked "RUSH," but I'd be angrier at the railroad folks than at Amazon and UPS.

For 100 years, the seal on a rail car is little more that a zip tie if anything. It’s time for a real lock and a guard with a shot gun.

I was told by a trucker that it is a federal offense to carry a weapon on a commercial vehicle.

Also that very few truckers are willing to drive into CA, due to high costs of fuel and too many regulations making it cumbersome.

Never contemplated being a Trucker, but if I had, a gun and one of those hospital type pee cups would be the first things I'd bring with me.

Damn pee cups usually hold 900ml and can eventually be emptied in discreet places ...just how big must my bladder be to get a CDL? lol

We might be talking about Federal Law vs. State-issued permits here.

*LOL*...I thought u were talking about "test cups" that they use for urine samples, not pee jugs....My bad!!!...

Sounds right...I forgot about FED law differing from state...No mo posting for me today!....
