I started brewing a couple weeks ago. Should be able to taste my first batch in another week or so.

Did my 2nd batch about a week ago and I'm more excited for that one. Both are American Wheat but with different hops and staging.

What does it cost for a basic setup? Just curious.. I am not a beer drinker, I actually hate beer, but the process always interested me..

Jugs hoses pump bottle capper thing bottles caps ingredients. That's about it. You can buy kits online.

Roughly 200-250 to get everything you need. You can reuse your bottles and batch of 50 12oz beers usually costs around $32 bucks. Delicious beer and cheaper than the store.

I made a batch that smells fuggin amazing. Can't wait to try it out in a couple weeks

I did for years before my daughter was born and still do a small 2gal batch from time to time. Just make sure those bottles are sanitized and cap away! I was cranking out a mock-up of Corsendonk's Christmas Ale for family over the winter that turned on me cause I musta mixed up the clean and dirty glass at some point. Broke my little heart to dump it all.

I have 2 different cousins that are in the 500 gallon a year range. One cousin started with a basic garage set up and is now in th 5 to 10k range. The other brews cider, mead and so damn fine beers and stouts.

i suck at brewing but am awesome at drinking it :)

I've been brewing for over two years. I'm ready to start another one very soon. Just trying to decide what I want to make.

I thought I was the only man alive who drinks Brandy. I'm having an Asbach Uralt as I type. (Had a B&B this afternoon too)

Speaking of the asbach uralt can anyone get the 12 year old or the 15 year old? It's not sold in the states. I would love to get a bottle or two for Christmas. Hit me up if anyone has a connect in Germany.

Slic.
