Anybody follow macros on a bulk

I've never really done this, before I would just focus on getting in enough protein and calories as is the typical routine for many that bulk. Lately my metabolism has been so revved up I feel like shit eating all the calories so I was thinking of doing a 50c/30p/20f while bulking of course in a calorie surplus. Just started it today and feel much better think the extra protein is helping me to feel better then all the carbs and fats.

Just curious if anybody does macros when bulking? or if I'm being stupid for trying this?

I do, just loosely. I shoot for 200-250g protein, 300-400g protien, then fill in rest with fats.

Once I finish my diet , I have 4 days left. I want to try counting my intake while trying to gain weight.

I think I wanna go for 500 over my maintenance calories.

I'm interested to hear your results on it.

About the same here....

300g protein, 450g carbs or more on training days and fats as desired... Plus dbol.

I wouldn't say I count macro's exactly... But I do have a rough goal I shoot for.

Nope! I eat as much as I can when bulking. If i eat carbs, i need protein. i eat till i'm full. I don't over complicate things. 5'7" 255lbs at the moment with abs sorta showing. Working for me.

Ok so I not crazy having a range to shoot for. I'm not ready to bulk with a side of Dbol yet lmao.

For the 6 years I've been lifting I used to do it that way Zomb just feel like shit doing it this go around.

If you keep the calorie intake somewhat clean, you probably won't spill over too far. I fly by stick as I know my body well. I pick a weight, go for it and hold. Most of what I eat is pretty clean just a bit looser than when I cut. At my age I'm not trying to put on any more weight......I just go with the natural human response to the seasons and fluxuate between 185 and 205 (Summer/Winter). If I want, I can push to 225 pretty easily but I don't feel good at that weight so I have my sweet spot.

I count my macros year round. I'm bulking right now, eating around 4600 calories. 50%carbs/30%protein/20%fat
Seems to be working or me.
