I have posted it many times. Most people don't hit all three phases of the LDL cycle, which is why they see very little reduction.
- You need to hit LDL absorption with plant sterols (1-3 g a day).
- You need to address LDL synthesis with Red Yeast Rice (1200 mg a day), Citrus Bergamot (2000 mg a day) or Garlic (1000 mg a day). I prefer to use both, Citrus Bergamot and Garlic. Not a lot of people tolerate Red Yeast Rice, as it acts just like a statin.
- You also need attack LDL secretion with Berberine (1200 mg a day).
