3 hours of cardio is…intense to say the least lol I’ve currently been doing 45 minutes to an hour mixed between LISS on incline treadmill on stairmaster, but I’ve been thinking of incorporating some HIIT Sprints on treadmill as well for a total of 1.5 hours.I do cardio nearly every day, no matter the season. I do higher impact cardio during the growth or "off season" and LISS during prep. It ranges from 30 minutes to 3 hours a day depending on what I am trying to do.
Never before training without a meal in between. I do not want my cardio negatively impacting my training. If I am doing less than an hour a day, it will be fasted in the morning. If more than an hour, fasted for up to an hour in the morning and the rest in the afternoon after meals to help get my blood sugar down.
Change up the modalities, as your body adapts quickly.
I think you should train abs until you do not need to train them anymore. Unfortunately, you will have to get to around 5-6% BF before you will really know if you still need to train them. As far as frequency, just like any other muscle. Is often as you can recover from. I also train them like other body parts, with heavy resistance.
It’s funny how abs vary like @The other Snake mentioned it depends on the look you’re going for. I’ve got an idea of what I’d look like lean, but no idea how close I am to the “ideal” if you will.
