can someone explain his set up technique? seen quite few monsters doing this and would love to know the details of anatomical positions of that set up.
you set up on your traps, with scapulae tucked back hard. It gives a better arch for reduced range of motion and a better angle to press from. Driving the legs to hold that arch also gives stability....
My big question is why he didn't touch the chest? It's heavy, he's strong..... but it's around a 1.5 or 2 board press...????
Why does every bencher besides me have a problem with 10000% touching their chest? its always like 2-3 inches above. There wasnt one legit press in that video, impressive regardless because its 600lbs and if you can throw 600lbs around like that, thats insane. I just dont understand why people just dont do FULL rom. Ill never count a bench press unless the bar is resting on my chest. Touch and go.
