I check my sugar sometimes, a few Co workers r diabetic so i have access to glucometer. Only thing is that once I notice I feel off it's usually too late n all I can focus on is eating sumthing. From the time I notice it till I can walk to the break room it's usually too late, the onset is super fast....and scary to b honest. Wish I wuld b able to think bout it when it's happening. Other times when I feel just a lil off ill check it, usually between 50-60, can't imagine how low it gets when I'm bad! Wish I culd pinpoint the triggers. Tnx for advice n support, Def keepse extra motivated! I also haven't been sore for days like this in yrs, feels great!

Sorry to hear about your family member brother!!! It sucks knowing you will be losing a loved one soon.

Do you ride your bike everyday? I really need to get one.

Agree with GS!
Dude if you're popping glucose tabs + oj. + sugar to feel better after that's a bad sign. I get low (tested) after but only some oj or hard candy, or some pixie stix will bring it up quick.

Two signs I use are shaky hands and a feeling of "out of it" or some tunnel vision when I'm dropping...

I'll keep tabs on ya here if ya got any questions let me know!

At 50-60 I'm shaking and out of it, I've in the 40's before and that's dangerous close to diabetic coma... If your coworkers are willing, take a reading before and then soon after a workout... I'd be curious to see that

5.0 , you ever been tested for diabetes? You dont have to be a fatty to have it. Get the A1C or your ketones tested . Sounds like the signs bro, specially if you've been battling it for some time now

I will ask my Dr bout those 2 tests next time I'm in the office. I don't have a meter myself to use at the gym, only at work. Appreciate the concern my friends. I passed out a few times yrs ago n that's when they figured out low blood sugar, they said diet culd control it......I think I'm past that now. Just don't know what the triggers r still!!
