Dan Green just set the All Time WR for the 242lbs Class with a 2,160lbs Total. Gotta say it.... I don't think there's a better 242 or 220 lifter out there. This guy just seems to be unstoppable.

8/9 too. Very impressed. I've had a few conversations lately about my pulls. I get a lot of grief for pulling sumo. One of the things that is pointed out is that all of the biggest pullers are conventional. Hell my training partner even said to me "there is no dignity in pulling sumo."

Suck it... All of you :p

Amazing athlete and strength. 8 of 9 is very impressive.

And PoB..I use to pull sumo as well. Now..conventional. But, alternate training sumo and conventional to stay balanced. I do not see much of a difference in strength with either form.

Nothing wrong with pulling sumo. If I could pull more that way, I'd do it. I'm actually starting to work sumo into my training. Don't forget the Greatest PLer Of All time imho pulled a 903lbs @ 220lbs.

BrotherIron.... he did it basically in a singlet, too.

I wish I had the flexibility to pull sumo, anything for 5 more pounds.

Dan is a freaking monster and seems like a really bright guy. If any of you get a chance to read his deadlift training advice from Power magazine a few months back do it, use it, it works.
