1. Wrist Wraps
The use of wrist wraps will be permitted under the following restrictions:
a. Only one wrist wrap is permitted on each hand.
b. The wraps may not exceed 61 cm (24 inches) in length or 8 cm (3.2 inches) in width.

c. The wraps may not exceed a covering width of 12 cm (4.7 inches).
d. The tightening loop must not be over the thumb during the lift.


2. Under Amour (or type-brands) will not be allowed in competition regardless of thickness or elasticity. This ruling includes shirts and briefs.

3. Weight Categories and Weight Classes
1.The 5 & Under, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-11 records for all weight class will be combined into one 11 & Under age category. The highest lift will become the recognized record (ex: if a lifter in the 8-9 age category lifted a higher amount than one in the 10-11 category the 8-9 lifter will be credited with the 11 & Under record).

2. 100% RAW will no longer recognize the following weight classes:
a. For Women
30kg/66.1 lbs, 35kg/77.1 lbs, or 40kg/88.1 lbs (i.e. 44kg/97.0 lbs will be the first female weight class)
b. For Men
30kg/66.1 lbs, 35kg/77.1 lbs, 40kg/88.1 lbs, or 44kg/97.0 lbs (i.e. 48kg/105.8 lbs will be the first male weight class).
c. For past records, the highest lift will become the recognized record (ex: if a female lifter in the 40kg 12-13 age category lifted a higher amount than the current record in the 44kg 12-13 age category, the 40kg athlete will become the recognized record holder).
3. The oldest age category recognized by 100% RAW will be 75+
4. Materials used for Lifting Platform
1. The lifting platform must be made of carpet surface, or professionally manufactured lifting platform (with grip surface). Rubber mats or plywood without a carpet cover will not be allowed.

I had a meet last month and didn't use wrist wraps until I got there and they went over the rules. Not sure how much they help so I'll train a bit with them and see.

Thanks for the info, Im looking for a raw meet in my area. Monday just deadlifted 500 for the first time, so I was pretty excited about that. Not that 500 is something to brag about, but for weighing 175 it isn't bad. I'm only 5'6 by the way

Just curious about the tightening loop? What would a benefit be to having it on your thumb? It pisses me off if I leave it there as it is.I am just curious.
