No surgery. Is healing up pretty quickly. I thought about running some hGH but I'm lazy. Standard trt 180/m 1x week.
No squats yet. Just started using leg press. Before that was only doing light curls and extensions.
Injury occurred during a comp that my gym ran. Squat, DL, Strict Press. Hit 530/555/100.
I did my deadlift with the injury after not being spotted properly on the squat missing 550.
It was an easy pull and had most of my weight on my right side. Goal is 600. I think I'm going to start squatting light this week.

Good luck and take it slowwwww. Leave a lot in the tank. You can always add weight or reps the next week, but a setback getting over aggressive won't be good.

There's plenty of time...use it.

Thanks @DieYoungStrong I've learned that lesson a time or two so definitely will be going slow.

Also, can't edit my post but I meant 200lb strict press not 100 lol It's on my IG but probably won't share that in public, If anyone wants to link up let me know.

^^^ This ^^^

Don't remember hearing "quad tear" in my diagnosis, but maybe my "ruptured patellar tendon" is close. Sucks needing an old man Walker to get on + off the toilet for as long as recovery takes.
