Unfortunately you're probably right that there will be a law suit and the University will have to pay... However, if one of my kids would have been involved in something as stupid as that, they would have to use whatever money they got to pay their medical bills. Because I would have beaten...

What he said... I've had help with my back, shoulders and neck over the years when all a traditional dr. would do was give me muscle relaxers. I won't even go to a dr. anymore with any back, joint or muscle type issues.
I like watching the competitions. The main thing that bothers me about cross fit is that many of the coaches/trainers have no real experience performing the lifts they are trying to teach. Therein lies much of the problem for it to last long term IMO.

Being an old guy I read a bunch of comic books when I was a kid. I always liked Captain America, Silver Surfer, The X men and others, but those were my fav's
People can say what they want to about him, but he lives his life his way and doesn't seem to care about what others think about him. And, he has helped millions of people with their weight/body issues.

I've been using straps for several years now... My grip strength started going away in my late 40's. Now that I'm in my 50's it's not very good at all. But, to each their own... Use them, don't use them, doesn't matter to me. I'm going to keep doing what works for me...
