From what I remember researching creatine is is one of the few supplements that's been clinically tested on humans all the way down to NEW BORNS and shown to be safe and also beneficial to even for people to don't lift weights. Sorry don't have any links saved.
This^^ My traps used to over power my delts and give a strange rounded over upper body effect. I started giving lateral delt raises there own workout on their very own day so they'd get the full benefit of that day/nights recovery. Allowed my delts to catch up and improve that delt pop effect.

THIS^^^^ x1000 some guys get away with crazy doses and durations and others not so much..... do blood work as often as you can afford. I didn't and am paying the price for it.
While there's no substitute for solid clean real food, whey protein will help. Still better than no protein.
If you give gainers a try look for something that relies on oats for carbs or aother high fiber sources, avoid anything padded with sugars and maltodextrin as thats a good way to get fat...
