I run a couple miles with my dog each day.
I walk A LOT, cause anything in town I just walk to instead of drive if it's nice but I don't really consider that "physical activity".
I like HIIT and jump rope a lot though, that's what I do when I really feel the need for extra activity.
This Summer is setting me back, a lot, I feel like :( It's so sad.
I kind of feel like (know) I'm losing definition, I just can't get a good gym or sleep schedule with everything going on this Summer. Sucks butt!
Just keep telling myself it will come back easy...
On the bright side (ish)...
If there's no pain I personally wouldn't worry, just keep an awareness of it!
My knees pop the first rep or two of every.single.set(!) on deads and squats. Always have. It might be because you went narrower recently, when I do wider stances for squats it goes away and generally just feels...
I definitely feel like protein powders are a SUPPLEMENT and people forget that. If you have the ability to get all of your protein from whole foods then go for it, it's much better IMO.
Yeah, these assessments are health focused typically but I know the university does them for our athletes to help training so with the right person it can be training aimed. This is a research study though so they'll make no "suggestions" I'll just get all the paper results in my chart and do...
Has anyone had a training assessment (body composition, diet and training log, and aerobic testing) done? I'm going in Tuesday to have a Bod Pod analysis and they're testing my aerobic performance and filming me weight lift, then in 7 days I'm going back to turn in a diet/training log getting...
Everyone finds different things that work for them, and if crossfit works best for you that's cool. If there was one thing that worked there wouldn't be this much talking about it.
I think if done RIGHT it can be really effective. I'm glad you found what works for you, and I hope you stay...
Basically the small meals that people talk about. Basically, I usually just make my entire day one spread out meal (aka I snack all day). When I go to events, holidays, etc. where there are actual meals I get super bloated usually. That's preventative though, not fixing.
Fruit and water always...
I'm at 125 lbs, and while I realize I've gained muscle because I look a hella lot "buffer" I obviously had to gain some crap too for +10. SO I'm doing some more cardio throughout the day and changing diet a bit. Also trying those stupid Dr. Oz super fruits pills lol whatever, worth a shot I...
I don't think this really involves girls but here's my input:
My man hates when I "make him have sex" before his workout because he says it drains him and he never has as good of a workout. Now on other days when we don't I'm always teasing him from across the gym (making eye contact in the...
How many guys do you see with a girl that has that "perfect body" they love to look at in magazines and online? You don't always end up with your "type" so that may help explain it.
Also: See "dad bod" it's a current fad and I know lots of girls who consider that the ideal man physique...
I take Biotin pills daily, people can get them at CVS really cheap: 5,300mcg/pill. A %daily a person needs is 300mcg I think, I don't imagine it blocks that much? (My boyfriend steals them to help clear up his bacne when he's broken out real bad too, so if anyone has issues with that)
I would...
So I have started drinking them. I've been putting the egg whites in with a protein shake twice a day and it's delicious...makes it thicker like a melted milk shake. I haven't had any issues digesting them so no issues there either (haha awkward).
I got "All-Whites" from Kroger. There's like 20...
Anywhere from 90-120 minutes. Typically an hour and a half but legs and back both go two. I've tried going longer, it's pointless because after that I start getting too hot and fatigued to do anything 100%.
Does anyone drink raw egg whites?
Just because I buy the cartons of egg whites I was thinking of mixing it in with my protein shakes post workout. I probably couldn't mentally make myself do it by itself, and have no desire to. It's just convenient and adds some protein/takes out some of the...
My gym was closed all of last week for renovations, then closed still Monday because the air conditioning wasn't repaired/reinstalled yet and it was too hot. So 10 days without a gym
(Oh, and there are no squat cages until August)
So for all of last week I was just doing home/bodyweight...
This was actually super helpful. When I hear all these guys at school and the gym talk about bulking and eat 20 pancakes like "girl, I'm bulking it's cool" I had this really warped sense what a successful one was lol.
I'm also glad to read many of you don't train the gross way guys I'm around...
I in no way agree with his process and way of bb but I'm telling you about his background. It's what he did, not what I support. He's an addict by nature and when he put on the first 30-40 lbs of muscle he's ever seen on himself he got excited but also impatient (he was like 180 I think by the...
