    Still rolling…. Spent last week out of town for work. Caught some bullshit hotel workouts in the morning and managed to get to BJJ sessions in at a local gym. Today AM: Ran 2 miles this morning at 9:50 pace. PM: BJJ; bunch of closed guard work followed by 3, 5 minute rounds. 70 minutes total.

    Got to train with a Brazilian professor yesterday. Pretty cool. Did a bunch of De La Riva guard work. No weights or running yesterday. Flying out to Houston today for a week. Found some BJJ gyms there and will hopefully be posting up!

    Do I have a chance at my goals?

    @ChargerWolf Im 5’9”. At 16 I weighed 150lbs. At 36 I weighed 240lbs with single digit body fat and 20” arms. It’s a lot for someone our height and I can’t say that it was remotely healthy. I weigh 215 now @42 with 17” arms and life is much better. Just train…the inches and the pounds don’t mean...

    Yesterday Got 1.5hr BJJ sesh in. Did an hour or so of basic guard work: triangle left, triangle right, arm bar left, arm bar right…then finished out w/ 3, 5min rounds. Hips are pretty sore this morning.

    Thanks brother. My lats have always been a strong point for me. One of my early training partners in BB’ing was obsessed with pull-ups. There was a time I could pull a set of 6 or 8 with 3 plates tied to my waist.
