Yeah I was reluctant to use wraps thinking it's for pussies but at this age near 50, I think I'm entitled to it. I'm not using it to lift heavier, but to keep my knees stable to I can get in good position pain free. Now I can squat back in 405 range and have squat 5 plates pain free.
Still gotta warm up thoroughly!
I do 50 reps in leg extensions, then 3 pyramid sets up, then last set triple drop sets,
Then only then, will I even think about squatting.
Wraps saved my ass.
