When I’m off the blood pressure I run 170/95 I had gotten a Ross procedure done because my heart valve who’s going bad in the efficiency of my heart pumping went from 46 down to 32% if you get under 30 they usually recommend a pacemaker the cocktail that my doctor has me on said that it can actually raise that number back up and no this is not a new diagnose i’ve been dealing with high blood pressure for about eight years now I have the medical report of the heart scan they just did I’ll see if I can share it on this thread I appreciate any advice

Ok….that mix of meds makes much more sense now.
I see that during the heart scan you posted, your BP was at 120/78 — Is that what you see / maintain on average with all your meds? Do you get readings even less than that?

Under ordinary (non medical condition) circumstances, 200mg weekly test wouldn’t be a concern at such a BP. However, with the aortic / pulmonary procedure you’ve had, there could be the potential of a contraindication.

Under such circumstances, I wouldn’t go it alone (trt outside medical advisement and monitoring).

Question: The last few pins had been a little painful (i.e. blood pressure differential after pulling out pin.) and was wondering if anyone new if this was a result of blood pressure?

Gonna talk to doctor about it and will ask around on other forums just to see how common this is. Might have to consider androgel if it is dire. Exploring solutions and options. Thanks!

Blood pressure brings so many issues along with it. I don’t happen to know about it but this does sound serious and you should definitely ask a doctor about this and also try to get recommendations for workouts that can help you to control your blood pressure.

Looks in many ways like my recent ECHO minus the valve procedures, my EF is 48% using LV biplane but 55% visually. Numbers have been stable for years. Going to repeat a cardiac MRI after my back fusion heals bc I have a HCM Dx and follow it from there. My BP is 120's/70's or less. Should have pain more attention to it years ago however. I'm surprised they don't have an ARB or ACEi in there. ANG II is the devil relative to LVH.

my husband also joked with the pressure until the ambulance took him out of the gym , now even before going camping or hunting , he fills out his diary , measures the pressure and takes everything he needs , yes it takes an extra 10-15 minutes , but he is calm
