Are tax credits in play or u just getting your feet wet with the concept? In the southwest tax credits were a selling point....

Buy because you’ll get the tax credits, whereas if you lease, the leasing company gets it.

It takes about 5-7 years to get your money back. Depending on the size of your house, it can cost between $15k to $20k.

Is your house surrounded by trees and in the shade, or are you hit with sunlight all the time? This makes a difference, you’ll generate more if your house doesn’t get shade.

Id suggest finding a reputable solar seller and buy everything yourself, if u cant install it, go for it!! Or u can hire a subcontractor to do it and overall save tons of money, i have a few buddies who went down south and found a place and purchased everything from them and installed it themselves and saved a crap ton of money

If thats not in your forte, then get quotes from everyone u can and get a good loan
