French toast.

Ingredients
  • 8 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 4 slices whole-wheat bread
  • Cooking spray
  • Sugar-free syrup
Preparation

Whisk egg whites, vanilla, nutmeg and milk together. Dip each slice of whole-wheat bread in the egg mixture and brown on each side in a nonstick pan sprayed with cooking spray. Top with a little sugar-free syrup and serve with turkey sausage or scrambled eggs.

Breakfast burrito.

Ingredients
  • 4 turkey sausages
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 whole-wheat tortillas
  • 2 tablespoons salsa
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook turkey sausages in a non-stick skillet until done. Remove from heat and cut into bite-size pieces. Beat the four eggs in bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Spray a non-stick skillet with cooking spray, add eggs and scramble. Put equal portions of the scrambled eggs in each tortilla, and top with turkey sausage, salsa and low-fat shredded cheese. Roll each tortilla and eat.

All of those are recipes that I eat for breakfast. I adjust for the eggs and stuff but these are real good recipes and they taste good. It gets real boring eating just scrambled eggs and oatmeal everyday. I have lunch and dinner recipes too that are good.

Thanks

My go to breakfast every morning is about taking as little time as possible (so I can maximize sleep)

It consists of 3 basic things (which I can sub some extras in if I desire a macro shift.)

I eat higher and lower carb days as a general rule. 4 hi and 3 low lately.

Lower carb days.

1tbs Peanut butter
Shake: 8oz of milk, 1/2 scoop Dytamize cinnamon casein, 1 1/2 scoops unflavored isolate.

This give me about 60-65g pro to start the day.

On higher carb days I add in either breakfast cereal. I like rasin bran or an oatmeal granola cereal. Usually only eat one serving size which is smaller than you think. (about 25 g of carbs).
I might also eat some fruit depending on how I feel.

If I have been cheating too much on either day, I just cut back on the PB for a few days. (50-100 cal adds up when you pull back a few days).

That is pretty much what I eat every day to start off. On weekends, I might swap the cereal for waffles I cook with the kids....or add in some eggs and bacon and sub the peanut butter.

I make these ahead of time in a loaf pan. Eat one loaf every morning. I put some ground flaxseeds in there too.

My go-to breakfast is kinda lame: whey with oatmeal shake.
I'm not a morning person and not hungry in the mornings so I make myself eat this.
