The fack?

60ct for like $28!!! :mad:

That was from Walmart today. WTF is going on?

They've been slowly going up since the current admin came into office, but over the last few months it went from like $16/60 ct--->$18--->$21 just two weeks ago--->$28 dollars today:mad:

Is this really from this supposed Avian Flu crap? How do we have so many problems come up over the last 1+ year(s)? It's ridiculous.

That's not bad, 18 at my grocery is $10 now!!
Yea, they are just under $9 per 18ct at Walmart. All the other stores are more expensive around here. I'm not sure where Costco is at right now though.

Yep, it sucks. Spring, summer and fall my chickens are laying, but in the winter my chickens do not lay eggs, so I am forced to buy them.

I just bought 18 a half week ago and they were around $4 at Walmart. I didn't see the price but a dozen were just under $3.

It may be coming around though. I'll know in a few days.

Costco was $7 for 24 so not bad. Worth it for me to drive there for milk, eggs, gas and a shicken

I was a 1-2x/wk Costco shopper up until I got laid-off from my previous job, as i worked within the city it was in, along with the gym. Now i live about 25'ish miles away, so 50 miles round-trip. I was going there still once per week or so during Covid, but over the past year, very sparingly, as Wally-world had most everything i needed and the gas wasn't worth it........BUT, I may have to start hitting it back up now again.

Eggs, milk, meat, egg whites, and a few other things, like you noted, may make it worthwhile again.

I walked out of a restaurant the other day when I read that 8 Buffalo wings were $16 and that there was a $3 upcharge for chicken dishes. Grilled chicken sandwich was $15.
My whole egg consumption has dropped from 42 a week to 14. I add liquid egg whites to 2 eggs a day and scramble them for breakfast.

Ya, I forgot you were in Cali.

When I'm up to $28, you'll be up to $128 :oops::p
Yea, i'm gonna have to not eat them any longer at $28/60. That is just stupid to pay that. I may get them just for the kids, but i'll have to find other alternatives for myself, or we'll be spending that much often. Yea man.....fukk Cali!

heh heh heh:)
