I wonder whether the pendulum will swing back toward sanity soon. 2022 could be a tsunami at the ballot box... there are a lot of independent voters that may not be hardcore conservatives, but they're not leftists, and this whole defunding of the police and rising crime is an issue that gets people to the polls.

Plus, while the press will never tell you, illegal immigration is an issue where lots of people agree. Many are OK with legal immigration, but don't agree with illegal immigration and think the border should be controlled.

Lastly, lots of independent voters want their kids back in school this fall (they also wanted them in school last year). If the dems look like the party of teachers unions that are screwing over their kids, it could get very ugly for the dems in 2022. Don't mess with soccer moms when it comes to their kids. And stop calling soccer moms racists because they want what's best for their children. That CRT baloney falls pretty flat with momma bear when it comes to their kids.

If the dems can't hold the line on these issues, it could get very ugly for them. We shall see. Could be pretty interesting to see how the dems run. I'm guessing you'll start hearing the following: 1. we never said to defund the police, 2. we never advocated for open borders, and 3. we never said to keep the schools shut down.

The school system here polled parents twice on how to handle covid19, fall of 2020 and Jan 2021. Its urban so the population leans left, but the county overall leans right. Both times parents were 80%+ 5 days in classroom. Both times the school board voted for distance learning because of "science", the CDC, and any excuse they could think up (some were ridiculous). The parents were adamant and united about what they wanted for their kids, and the board did the opposite, twice. There will be hell to pay. I think 2 board members lost re-election last spring, and there will be more to come.

Know what really grinds my gears? All these "woke" ads during the Olympics, interviews with minorities saying how hard it is to breakthrough for them. Being basically colorblind I'm like "wtf, why is this a race thing", there have always been a lot of Black athletes in my lifetime. And Jesse Owens was showing up Hitler in 1936, way before these kids' grandparents were even born. No one is really breaking any barriers anymore. At least until someone does something about PED use which is so widespread its a joke its even against the rules, because the only ones who get caught are the dumb ones.

It awful that we have to watch with our own eyes how America is being destroyed by our own government.. There used to be a word for this it’s called treason and the punishment is death

I don’t see it as merely “our own gov’t.” What’s happening is global — it’s pretty clear the orchastrative powers of this NWO shift are the creepy level elite power brokers — the system (at large) owners themselves. Politicians are simply their front line pawns.
But aside from that, with regard to the US in particular, a significant blame has to be assigned to our predominantly unrefined and ignorant poor behaving public at large. The public’s blame cannot be excused from the equation of what’s transpiring in the US.

What’s beyond rational comprehension for me, is why parents desire for the state (public education) to be in charge of “educating” (indoctrinating…. fucking up) their kids. Handing kids over to these concentration camps perpetually fucks up each successive generation.
One full generation of protecting America’s youth from public (gov’t) “education” would go a long way toward turning the country around.

There weren't any biden voters :)

J/K, I used to blame biden voters at the beginning but since he really didn't win, it's not their fault.
Man you look awesome in your pic. Not calling you old but I wish I’m gonna look like that at your age

If we didn't see it before, the covid pandemic definitely exposed how bad the public school system is. I know lots of teachers... friends, cousins, etc, so its difficult to talk sometimes, but these people are fricken lazy. They didn't go to work for a year, put in maybe a couple virtual hours a day, then fought tooth and nail to not come back.

Some of them had so much free time they worked for cash on the side. Its ridiculous.

Then I see Facebook posts saying they are heroes for going back to work.... hey assholes I never worked from home a single day... in the manufacturing plant every day to feed you bums. And I didn't get sick despite sitting in small conference rooms and everything else.

Teachers are whiners, and many of them are socialist whiners (public school system is basically a socialist system, funded by taxes and run by bureaucrats). A friend's wife happily went to Cuba with her other teachers when Obama opened it up to travel, coming back with cigars and bragging about how great a place it is.... you're shitting me. My kid goes to their high school next year.... GDI the public school system is in dire need of massive reform. I say put cameras in the classrooms and let parents watch what's going on.

Used to be an old saying @DungeonDweller "Those who can do, those who can't teach" not saying this about all teachers, I have many family and friends that are teachers and good at it. I know others who became teachers to have the summers off and get out at 2:30...

I agree with TB. This whole COVID thing has pulled the mask off of the public education system. Either send your kids to a private school or homeschool. Don't subject your kids to the worthless torture that is today's public school "education" process. (and yes those are scare quotes, LOL)

Sadly, they are just getting them trained early so they comply better as they age.
