Glycine reduces inflammation in the body as well and helps from getting sick and with healing injuries as well. I eat plenty of collagen and glycine in my diet. Boiled bones to make my soups. Yum.

This study makes sense to me as well and I can see them finding this correlation between the two actions for humans, soon enough.

Interesting article, thanks for posting. I did read all of the article. Makes sense to me, it will be interesting to see the findings from the human tests though.

In other news....i scrolled under the article to the other ones and there was a picture for "Vic Tanney"....oh man, I used to work out at a Vic Tanney back in the day when i first started weightlifting. Back in the 80's LOL.

These people are all shapes and sizes, none really having muscle mass, yet, they are supposedly living longer than the rest of the world...Is it really muscle mass that is the key?...Or genetics?...
