I guess?...The research I'm getting is showing different, danrojigga...True the FDA has approved of the use of hormones in cattle at the correct dose, however, from what i'm gathering from my research (which could be tainted), it is showing an incrediable amount of abuse going on...Take a look at some these references and let me know if they are accurate...I would like to know the truth!....
This article is showing the physical abuse of cows, even by the ones that Publix uses or use to use as a supplier...

This one is showing the hormone to antibiotic use...Basically giving evidence of how the hormones being used are causing infection in the cows, then having to administer antibiotics to preserve them...

Here are some pics of what that looks like...

This is a vid of how cows are treated...It is disturbing to say the least....
Now this is a fraction of what is available on this matter...If they are doing these things just to produce milk and meat, it seems like they wouldn't have a problem giving to much hormone to make the cow grow faster and bigger...What's your take on my friend?...This is a new subject of interest for me...

There's always going to be some cases like this but overall I the abuse isn't widespread. Videos and articles will cover this type of crap but fail to mention that the wide majority are doing it the right way. What good would it be to kill cattle by over dosing them? That would hurt the bottom line profit. There are regulations and inspections along the whole way. Most livestock at a local producers level are treated extremely well. That is their livelihood. Losing animals cost money.
