Thanks! Unfortunately my leg in a brace time is extended until the 24th.
I have lifted in a brace before, but that was a quad trim up job (debridement), no screw plaved in my kneecap. I may sneak in for some upper body before then, but not like waiting another week or so is going to hurt me at this point.
The other Snake, yes, that is about the time to heal for an ACLR. If I planned on doing any sports or olympic lifting I would be out for around that long for the shoulder and then the knee. I am just going to lift, so I will be back faster. Obvioulsy, any high velocity limb movements or impact will take longer than just getting it done in the gym.
I tag teamed my knee 2nd post op visit with a pain intervention specialist for the sciatica and also for the pubic pain, but if it is osteitis pubis there really is nothing for it, as injections are not shown to help.
Unfortunately I no longer live in a big metro area with professional sports teams. Those metro areas have orthopods that are highly specialized, as in a knee guy, a groin guy, a shoulder guy...
Here is to a super great 2020 for all of us! Let us try to stay healthy in the coming year!
