You ever tried banded pulls? I also like reverse band pulls to get my confidence up. I like the 355 3x2 395 is literally right there.

What are you doing for incorporating deads? I started just doing 1 deadlift only day, but now I cant figure out a good day to put it in.

If the bar is failing after mid-point make sure you're shooting your hips forward to finish the pull. Once the bar pasts the knees it doesn't need to go any higher (for the most part). I tell people the cue... fuck the bar so they shoot the bar forward. This keeps them from having to pull the bar any higher and also keeps them from trying to hyper extend the bar and pull it over their erectors. If you duck your feet out just a bit, you'll find it easy to get those glutes firing.

Thanks superman. I've never used bands. I lift in my basement with low ceilings but I could mount a couple hooks. How much do good bands go for? I incorporate all lifts based on what hurts the least that day ;) Im a machinist so after 9 or 10 hr days on concrete floors Squats and deads are their own days.

Bands are not too expensive. Elitefts is constantly having sales, but you can find them on Amazon or Rogue etc.

Thanks BI. I'm pulling sumo and have been working on the feet placement. "Fuk the bar" is a excellent cue and is EXACTLY what I didn't do

Reverse bands are a GREAT way to overload. Create more power to finish the pull, strengthen your CNS, build your confidence, etc.... I'm a HUGE fan and once my groin is 100% I'll put them back into my training. There a must for pulls and squats.

I think I payed 80 bucks for 6 bands greens purples and blacks 2 of each.

Last wk blew. Found out Monday night that a close friends fiance died and on Wednesday my best friend since childhood and his mother found their grandma dead in her pool. I had my mother in for the weekend too so Ive gotten nothing done.
