Should hit the stores this week as an FYI for anyone looking for one of the best Stout's out there:

Kentucky Breakfast Stout : What we’ve got here is an imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolates, then cave-aged in oak bourbon barrels for an entire year to make sure wonderful bourbon undertones come through in the finish. Makes your taste buds squeal with delight.

ABV: 11.2% IBUs: 70 Beer Advocate Rating: 100

I think you'll regret that. Beer does not improve with age. Esp once patuerized and bottled.

Love stouts....but not much into the bourbon barrel /whiskey barrel aged ones. Just a tad too boozy for me. Porters are tasty as well. Founder's Breakfast Stout is a solid go to stout in my book.

High ABV my friend. You only age certain beers and Lagers ain't one of them. Stouts, Barleywines, high ABV IPA's, Scotch ales etc..

If you let them aged the booze mellows out and creates some amazeball flavours.
