Had a decent day but my left knee is bothering me a bit. My pit jump and landed on it which didn't tickle. It should be fine by next week. Since I felt battered, I did break out my power pants for squats. Broke out knee sleeves at 460 and belted up for the 515 set.

the "Boneyard" Power Bars sell fast...they had a few up yesterday for $195, and they were gone just as quickly, same as last week....but they're up for sale fairly frequently.

I've decided my next specialty bar will be a SSB. Most likely from New York Barbells. Hoping end of year, if not sooner.

Yeah, I won't have the funds for another bar till next year tax time comes around. I hope they have them available at that time b/c the retards at my gym are constantly fighting for that TPB so I'd like to pick up the ohio power bar so I don't have to wait. If the duffalo bar didn't cost an arm and a leg I'd pick one up as well.

Did you see his 2 latest bars? ...A Power Bar and a Squat Bar....unreal quality.

Yeah, I saw the vids on those 2 bars. My only concern with those bars are they could be VERY brittle which means break and not bend. I wouldn't buy them right out the gate.

Well... my university took a massive shit on me this week. I was scheduled to take 4 classes this fall but they dropped my classes b/c I'm no longer eligible for financial aid for an associates degree. I have 88 credits that are being counted from my last degree and the maximum amount allowed is 90 for aid. SO... the school dropped my classes which bent me over big time. I needed one to prepare for the TEAS, the entrance exam for the nursing program. Luckily, I've been able to re-register for that class. I was also informed I can appeal my case which shouldn't be a problem because I didn't loose aid due to academic probation.

It looks like I'm going to have a busy first week since I have to see an advisor about this appeal, drive to a far away campus for my 2 classes I was able to re-register for, and fit work, training, and my life in there too. Happy days.

Left shoulder blade has a knot under it and it's killing me. I had to train by myself and didn't have a spotter so all that equals taking it easy on bench.

Also, went and appealed my case to the university. They informed me it'll take 4 weeks to find out the results.

I was wrong about the chain amount for Mondays training session. It's actually 65lbs which would explain why the bar felt so heavy. That's a 15lbs jump in one week. Must have tweaked my left calf b/c it felt off today on deads so I took it easy. I skipped my heaviest sets. The rest of the workout went well.

Calf is feeling much better today but I still opted to take it easy on comp. squats. I was supposed to work up to a single with 605 but decided to take it easy and not risk re-injury or continued injury to my left calf.

I didn't wrap up for any of the sets. I just broke out sleeves on 465 set, and belted up on 505 and heavier set.

Well... Active Recovery Week and this is what my calf needs. I could barely feel it on my front squats so I only performed 2 sets. Didn't feel it at all with deadlift. Feeling a bit run down but I have school to thank for that.

Didn't train last Friday b/c I wanted to give my left calf a break. It felt good today. I'll bench on Wed, and squat on Fri. I have my first exam for fall this Friday.
