Always pushing... :)

When I can do them deep enough and for enough reps I'll put 4 plates on again. Who knows I may go up into the high 3s with for some 4-6 rep work too.
I ended up doing 375 x 5 for a couple sets then 10 reps at 305
Thats alot of work bro, seems a bit over-train, if thats all in 1 day.
All in an hour Rack runs always inflate the number of sets.

one would probably have to go to the gym to train first to know if this was over train or not :D

I'm in my 3rd week of test e (400mg) and last week I felt a little lift in stregth but today it went through the roof. I thought I'd start with some DB Incline Flyes, rack run style...

DB Incline Flyes (Rack Run)
30, 35, 40, 45 x 12 warmup sets
50 x 12
55 x 12
60 x 12
65 x 12
70 x 12
75 x 12
80 x 12
85 x 12
90 x 12
100 x 8
90 x 12
85 x 10
75 x 12
65 x 18

What's your form like on these db flyes? With proper form, 100s would be way too much weight for me, although I have long arms. Just wondering if you are doing some variation of flyes that will allow more weight to be used.

I do them with about a 30 degree bend in the elbow. I usually only go to about 85# on these but I was feeling them so I rode it :)

Are you his lawyer ATW? :)

The reason I ask is because there are some strong, strong members on here that don't do 100lb db flyes on normal sets, much less in the middle of a rack run. I'm not saying that he didn't use 100lb dumbbells, but I am saying that he did not do them with strict form. (Meaning elbows are slightly bent and do not bend more or less during the rep. Weight comes down to just above shoulder level. No pressing with the triceps, shoulders, etc.)

Ok, no disrespect intended, I just know how heavy 100lb DB flyes really are. How deep do you go?

LOLOL im not the lawyerly type :D

you are such a skeptic SAD. but that being said, it is not entirely a bad thing. i agree that 100# db flyes are tough. i think a lot has to do on the injuries one has had. II is fairly recent back into the gym and not tore up like a lot of the big guys so he can probably tolerate doing more weight on some of these exercises that are tough on tore up joints and tissue. that would be my guess. noobtards get all the good things :D

Upper arm was parallel with floor on heavy sets your honor. Lighter sets a little deeper.

Not to mention dangerous. Risk/reward factor is just NOT there for 100lb db flyes.
