Supplementing glutamine is useless

And utilizing casein before bed offers no benefit other than the fact that you may not wake up feeling as hungry. For the most part, protein is protein. (minus beef/collagenic/hydrolyzed)

Not useless, but arguing Whey>Casein and vice versa is moot. Use whatever protein you want, Casein, Isolate, Soy, WPC, etc. They will mirror each others effects almost parallel.

Personally I use a 50/50 blend of Whey/Casein. I find it much more satiating than Whey alone

And don't just take my word for it, that bothers me, I like to be challenged. Here is a page I wrote a few years back citing multiple studies that disprove Glutamines usefulness - http://ogrestrengthpharmacology.web...less-for-recover-worthless-for-immune-system/

And from a physiological standpoint, a blend of Casein/Whey/Leucine is superior to all. But understand there will be zero noticed effects compared to Whey or Casein alone except for maybe increased recovery time due to the exogenous leucine supplementation(5g).
