electric shock therapy for strained muscle

has anyone ever used it before and what kind of results did you get from it?
i hurt my peck about 4 weeks ago and today i was filling good so i did my warm up then did my 3 sets with 405 i did 2 for 10 reps and my last set i did it for 12 with no pain at all so me being me i decided to show off a little and put 495 on the bar and on my 3rd rep i felt the same damn pain from 4 weeks ago. so a freind of mine gave me a machine and i have used it this morning and once this evening. so my questiion is can you over use it does it help stimulate blood flow and does it seem to speed up the recovery time.

Cool, not often does this come up and I find the little Dr Ho (probably a cheap ass electrostimulation device) really works well as a relaxation/light injury healing tool. I've never used it on chest muscles so I can't say much on that.

But for others wondering, in my experience, lower back, rear/side delts/forearms, quads and calves, it really helps you out with tight muscles. If you lie down and place the pads behind you neck, you fall asleep almost every time.

Anyway, if anyone has any experiences with ES by all means...

i have had a combo of that treatment alongside of heat and ultrasound on my lower back and hamstring. they said both injuries would take up to 6 months to heal but we got it done in about a little over 2 months. it is very effective and speeding the process up
