my grandmas house was destoyed by a tornado

This Friday my grandma's house took a direct hit from a tornado and was completely leveled. She was unfortunately asleep on the couch when it hit. She was found 60-70 feet away from where the couch originally was, buried under 5-6 feet of debris. She suffered a broken collar bone and lots of lacerations and bruises. But will be ok with some time. Just figured I'd share this with you guys and some pics.STORM1.jpg

OMG! Someone from upstairs was watching over her. Possessions mean nothing compared to a life.

How scary. So glad your Grandma is ok. You can replace the house, but Grandmas are one of a kind.

Fortunately yes she does have everything insured very well.....except the barn she had some low ass policy for only 15k on it, so its going to cost a bit to replace that.

But unfortunately the house was her dream house, she built it less then 4 years ago after we all convinced her to tear down the old one and build this one. It wasnt a huge home but it was really nice.
