This Friday my grandma's house took a direct hit from a tornado and was completely leveled. She was unfortunately asleep on the couch when it hit. She was found 60-70 feet away from where the couch originally was, buried under 5-6 feet of debris. She suffered a broken collar bone and lots of lacerations and bruises. But will be ok with some time. Just figured I'd share this with you guys and some pics.STORM1.jpg
More pics of the damage
I'm glad your grandma is ok!
Holy cow she is very very lucky. The house is destroyed .
Holy shit, she is one lucky lady, glad she is ok
Jesus Redneck that is a miracle that she is still alive!!! Must be one tuff lady!
OMG! Someone from upstairs was watching over her. Possessions mean nothing compared to a life.
How scary. So glad your Grandma is ok. You can replace the house, but Grandmas are one of a kind.
I hope she makes a speedy recovery brother.
Wow, that house is just gone.... So glad she's ok!
Glad she is ok
Damn, wish her a speedy recovery... An I hope she has good insurance an she gets a dream home out of this.
Bloody 'ell bro, glad she got away relatively well.
Fortunately yes she does have everything insured very well.....except the barn she had some low ass policy for only 15k on it, so its going to cost a bit to replace that.
But unfortunately the house was her dream house, she built it less then 4 years ago after we all convinced her to tear down the old one and build this one. It wasnt a huge home but it was really nice.
After reading what you wrote I was surprised to see she was alive. A house is rebuild able.
