As a happily married man I can give 3 good guesses....
1- and this is where I hope I fall in - It doesn't matter how nice a Rembrant you have in your home, even the owner of the most sought after artwork will check out other art..... the human body, that isn't ****ed from McDOnalds and sloth, is a thing of beauty, to be appreciated as such....
2- an exceptional body is an exceptional body.... until that turns to flirting etc.... no harm no foul, get over it. When I go to the bars I get comments from straight guys about looking massive or having big ass traps... whatever. I'm straight and married and the guys commenting are presumably all straight... they just noticed something out of the ordinary. It it were socially acceptable I'm sure that those guys would also be commenting on the nice rack a girl has as well..... that's just not usually very cool in this culture.
3- how much test is your husband on? Give a guy enough test and suddenly everything under 180lbs becomes fair game. LOL

I hope ow chimes in here, I love to look at people though and it doesn't cause any harm in our marriage either way, what we look at seems to be different though, I watch their body language the most, their interaction with their environment, I find it interesting for one and it keeps me aware of my surroundings, and yes I notice attractiveness in both sexes... Now where it gets interesting is that I'm bisexual , but tend to be very particular, not necessarily looks but mannerisms and my type is not the same as ow's tend to be though I can see the attractive qualities in each... There is a really excellent book I can send you the name, it would probably put your mind at ease, but men seem to sense and have to look at the "energy" that a woman produces and it causes them to seek out the source, I think it's purely natural, and of its a strong counter to their sexuality it Probaby induces lust, but this isn't a bad thing, a guy can just as easily take in that energy and use it to be more assertive in his life without the woman ever knowing she was looked at, I'm rambling and not making sense lol but I wouldn't worry about it
It's because we're kinda mentally/geneticaly pre programmed to look for something better all the time, survival off the fittest, the pack leader has as many females as they want trying to find the perfect genetic mate or just any old mate to keep our genes in the pool so to speak. It's how we keep advancing in everything we do.

Simply put: women are beautiful. As humans we like to look at attractive things i.e. sunsets, flowers, beaches, etc.
Also, as men we see women as our polar opposites. Women being soft, pleasing to the eye, and nurturing are our counterparts. The more masculine a guy is, the more he will be drawn to the feminine form. Just keep in mind that he's not looking a for a replacement for you, he's just seeing the congruency of male/female interaction.

This is the plain and simple fact of life is that men are competitors (and much moreso than women in the animalistic sense). There have been studies done on males in different situations (watching porn, live sex, participant in sex, etc) that show that when more than one man is involved the males more often than not produce a larger amount of semen. Why? Competition!! Our brains are wired to work that way, we have no choice.
SEX is the undisputed, undefeated heavyweight champion of the world. Sex will never be defeated because it is the basis for our existence. If you have a 10 sitting at home but have the opportunity to nail a 6 you're at least going to think about it for a split second because "Strange" is more enticing. Passionate sex with someone you've been with for a long time is great, but plunging your dick deep into the unknown abyss that is "strange ass" is a really intense feeling. Another point of that study earlier also found that most men produced more semen when cheating on their partners (or were made to think they were cheating). All too often we get into a routine with sex and you begin to want what other people have. It is completely healthy for an adult male to look at an attractive woman that walks by. Even if the woman is not that attractive but has an amazing rack, you can bet our eyes are going to wander. I never admit when I'm looking, unless she mentions it first, but I think she knows I look and doesn't really care. She points out when other guys (usually celebrities) are really hot and it doesn't bother me at all.
Now, the difference is in knowing how to be respectful when doing it. Where I live, the mexicans sit in groups in front of Home Depots and cat call every single chick that's hotter than a -2 on a scale of 1 to 10. So, what I'm saying is maybe you don't turn to your chick and start telling her how hot the chick is.
