Hey! I'm new to The Den but not working out nor bodybuilding boards. I was and am a regualr on another but i'm getting irked with all the "crap" that goes on. So here is my journal. A quick run down of the goal.
In May Monica Brant is holding her F.E.M. Camp in Toronto (where I live) and I'm going! The MAJOR part to thsi besdies doing a weekend camp with the amazing Ms. Brant is we will be doing a photo shoot with PAUL BUCETA!!!!! WHOLLY CRAP!!!! Super STOOOKED!
A couple big updates have happened....
1. I have put the deposit down on FEM Camp (no backing out now)
2. A friend is launching a fitness clothing line and said they would outfit me for the shoot. They are hoping to have booths at the Supershow, CBBF, IDFA which will be just after FEM CAMP etc and if so, guess who will be one of their models??? MOI !!!
Now here is the BIGGIE! I have been bouncing around how the hell I am going to be ready? Being able to be in front of someone like Paul Buceta is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity! To shoot with him privately It would cost $1500-$2000. I always thought having professional pictures done of myself "after" would be so great. Again how am I going to be ready enough to feel confident enough to be in front of this "A" list photographer. Not to mention the other girls at the camp will be getting ready for comps soon so they will be in almost top form...don't want to feel inferior. I have already said for the shoot I want to wear workout wear (shorts & bra top) or a bikini....we all know that takes no extra "stuff". I have retained Kim Oddo Coach and Nutritionist to the pros! What makes this different is I will have live skype meetings/follow ups during my 12 weeks with him! I have already spoken to him on the phone and I am very very excited. I had my first skype meeting with on Tuesday and he went through everythign with me diet, supps and training. For those of you who are not familiar with him, he trains and coaches Felicia Romero, Ava Cowan, Dianna Dahlgren, Sonia Gonzalez to name a few. What I like about him is his philosophy is don't think, just do. Let me do all the thinking. I need that. I have so much faith in this guy that if he told me to stand on my head every day and chops onions, I would. Here is a you tube clip of him with some of his pros and is the video that convinced me he is the REAL deal and knows what he is doing.
I took the last couple days to get everything I needed food and supp wise and today is the "official" start day. Mass cooking was done last night ...and I didn't burn anything LOL!!!
I hope you follow me on this journey...I am REALLY REALLY excited and want to look smokn
