Couch to 5K; Week Two, Day 2 done this AM. Rocking with the ECY stack for the next two weeks - started yesterday at x2 a day (AM and lunchtime)

Still weighin the same, 238 even, but getting compliments from the wife on how vascular and toned i'm getting. She's never used the word "vascular" before but she's def complimenting often.

Sometimes I'm pushing myself for heavier lifts so I can run and impress her. I don't give a **** about what some of y'all think - I like to make my woman swoon. Haha

My back is tore the **** up btw. Even my lowerback muscles... Not the sore like I've been in the yard picking weeds all day... The PR on deads kinda sore.

Working tomorrow after today's leg massacre is gonna make me think twice about this lifting program for sure. I'm kinda wishing I was able to push harder with the aide of some AAS. For now, glutamine, creatine and lots of food.

Also should pick up a foam roller. Start with a softer white or orange one. Learn how to use it. It's an incredibly effective rehab and recovery tool. Deep tissue massage will help keep you going, just give yourself a day or two between the body work and lifting.

I think right now you've easily got the best log going on the den.

5g Glutamine post-workout and fish oil at about 6g a day, spread out with every meal - is that sufficient?

I foam roll with the black joint - super hard one. I didn't know about softness til after I started using this a couple months ago...
Used a soft one at my gym recently and thought, "What the **** is this? A pillow?!"

    Haha you're a sick ****er.
First time I rolled my legs I googled "foam roller pain" and then felt ok...
At first I thought I was doing something terribly wrong...

Tonight was fueled by anger, dark shit, and pain. Pushing through the fire, legs burning after the third superset at the beginning...

This isn't melodrama, this is real. Looking back on it, it was great.
    During it was torture.

Nearing the end, I mentioned to my homeboy that we could always go 12 weeks instead of 8.
His response: "**** that," and he walked off. Haha

I'll let him choose the next 8 week routine. It's only fair. Especially after I threw him under the bus like this.

And that's how I feel. Like I was thrown under a bus. No energetic after-gym joy. This is exhaustion mixed with a growling stomach.

Can't wait to get home and eat.

Funny thing is, I'll be up at 6:30am tomorrow to run.
