I am new to the forum and am going to try to share my last 4 weeks of prep for show number one. The goal is to qualify for the nationals in November. I never look at any show regional or national any different. to me anytime i get on stage is super important to me..
I took 12 months off this past year longest off season EVER in past 11-12 years of competing. I went to lightweight last year to see how competitive I would be tend to be a small middleweight.. Almost killed me in the second show and altho the challenge of makong the weight was well just that a challenge and aweosme. I am def not a lightweight. SO after recovering here we are again..
So last week at 5 weeks out trainers said i looke 6 and 1/2 weeks.. wt*? we started a depletion and in a week made great gains... sometimes the ole body just doesnt want to respond, ugh!! now im looking dry(er) and vascular, sheesh scared me ... not being in perfect condition or gettong on that stage is not an option.
today was a light day cardio only and YAY for me some oatmeal. gotta love it.. now it is time for feet up and watching some nip/tuck
long post promise they wont all be that way..
