Could be my work habits and lack of sleep but I get a headache everyday just after lunch. Ibuprofen usually does the trick but it takes about an hour to do it. I have been told a chiropractor may be able to help or try cutting carbs until later in the day. Im curious what remedies you have for headaches? Is it that Im just stuck with this or is there another solution than ibuprofen?
Excedrin helps
Dont mask the problem, go to a chiropractor. Best thing anyone can do for themselves especially if you're lifting

A cup of strong coffee and an asprin... See a chiro sure, you should also see an eye doctor. Especially if you're staring at a computer screen all day...
I take BC powders and they work instantly. It is pretty much just asprin and caffeine powder but it works like a charm.
I take 1gram of tylenol 800 ibuprofen . Usually I get them when I don't get my caffeine in .
go to the chiropractor and the eye doctor, that is good advice. also an acupuncturist might be very beneficial!
i have been getting a lot of headaches lately as well, i just deal with them and use them as an excuse for why i am a mean and crabby bitch! i take 800 mg of ibuprofen every night so i can sleep so i try not to take any during the day hence the reason that i deal with them and just be irritable. my mom had collagenous colitis due to chronic long term NSAID use and there is no way in hell that i want anything to do with that!
Cup of Starbucks and 2 aleve.

Admin,
Can you tell us more about the kind of work you do and what you think is causing the headaches?

Excedrine works well for me as well as Goodies, I'll also use Head On on occasion for whatever reason it actually works as well. If your having chronic headaches I would suggest being mindful of your posture while sitting behind the comp, a better sleeping schedule, and as others have stated get to the Chiropractor. My Chiropractor works miracles if I get there before things get too far out of whack.
Water. Orgasm. In no particular order![]()
Water...good point marx. Anytime Im dehydrated I get headaches like crazy.
i've had migraines since i was a kid and so has my mother. she has had surgery on her sinuses, gotten glasses, and had the migraine shots but she SWEARS the chiropractor is the only thing that has helped. thats probably the only thing i havent tried yet. in the meantime, tylenol or excedrin and coffee helps dull them at least.
now this may be all in my head but i swear the sun gives me headaches, and when i wear sunglasses i dont get them. call me crazy...
the sun is a major migraine trigger! as are a lot of foods. eggs, wheat, chocolate etc etc. my little sister has had them bad for about 20 years. she just started going to the acupuncturist and after about 6 treatments she started not hardly having them and as long as she continues to go in she rarely rarely has them now. usually only a very stressful event will set them off. before the acupuncture she was in bed most days because of them!
