so i am up in idaho visiting my family this weekend and RR is here in meridian as well competing in a half highland games half strongman competition. it was great to get to meet her. she did most awesome in the event and took first!
here are some pics. i have many more that i will continue to go through and post some more. i also have some video that i will get downloaded and post as well.
my dad went with me and he had a blast because there was throwing events involved and he has been a throwers coach of over 40 years and cant help but tell everybody what they need to do to do better

I had a great Time.It was great to meet ATW and her father.He is a smart man and very knowledgable in the games. My endurance is WAY WAY down.I guess the thing about competing is it puts you in check on where you need to improve.
I am still focused on dropping some more pounds but with that I know I can add in other things to bring the endurance up.By the last event I had a snails pace and just didnt care.
All in all though it was a fun comp.It ran pretty smoothly and was very organized.
