The power pants give you some support at the the hips but not a ton like briefs or a suit. You should consider getting a pair... I think the way to incorporate gear into SST is thru the bonus sets. So hit your two raw bonuses but then hit two more in gear at over your 100% raw max. You could use a slingshot for bench too...
The slingshot does crazy things! I lOVE it!

She was very, very ill and keeping her company and making sure she was receiving adequate medical care on top of caring for our 4 year old daughter I haven't been in the gym for a week. But today, she was released. So I finally got back into the gym

I have been dying to try out my new equipment that SFGiants hooked me up with. I now have a titan F6 split back shirt, titan super centurion briefs, inzer power pants, true black knee wraps and a Metal King Pro deadlift Suit which hips and I have nicknamed "the tuxedo" and not enough patience!

    So here's what I did!

    Deadlifts

    135 x 1,1,1,1,1
    225 x 1,1
    Insert gear
    1,1
    315 x 1,1,1
    405 x 1,1,1
    505 x 1

    Squats
with deadlift suit on but loose straps
135 x almost fell over lol
    Inzer Power Pants
    135 x 3
    225 x 3
    315 x 3
    405 x 1
    405 x 3

    Benchpress
    135 x 5
    185 x 3
    225 x 3
    Shirt on
315 x 1 3-board and it scared the shit out of me...
    315 x 3 3-board
    315 x 1 touching

That last set of bench... wow. I thought the shirt was trying to kill me! I was kinda just testing out the equipment. It was interesting to say the least. Hips kept asking me if it was easier... I didn't know how to answer her. The weight would move faster, but it feels like it still takes the same amount of effort PLUS you have to brawl with the gear to get thru the lifts.

After lifting I had a protein shake. Then I had 3/4 of a large pepperoni pizza. And a 1/2 quart of milk. And 4 TB of almond butter. I'm sitting here feeling like I haven't slept for a week...

Loved seeing the joy in your eyes after this dead

Thanks BI. Only thing I am unsure of is of I am hitting ME frequently enough. I guess there is only one way to find out.

From your outline, I think you do. Remember ME is going to drain and tax your CNS so you need to time to recover from it and not get CNS fatigue.

Appreciate the support BI. I'll miss SST but I am bringing the idea of building up my weaknesses thru accessory lifts with me. I started doing good mornings because you told me too and my squat has shot thru the roof. You're a wizard.

Thanks. That's exactly what I do. I focus on my assisting lifts so the main lifts keep going up. My assisting lifts change as my weaknesses change which is why they're switched out every 8 weeks. And in time I switch them out completely b/c my weaknesses change in time.

I'm a fan of focusing on assisting lifts moreso than staple lifts. I believe you need the staple lifts but they shouldn't be the focus.

excellent. looking forward to seeing how you do with the differences between your raw numbers and your geared numbers. i am hoping to catch up to your raw squat at some point so keep it slow if you dont mind

it is a shame that now the only person i know using SST is the originator of the program and he isnt a good sounding board since he is already a few hundred ahead of us on total lifts

I think he was thinking that you don't struggle with the weight like him and I do... We could gripe to eachother because our lifts were so close... In reality though, you struggle and work as much as the rest of us to increase your lifts.

I was wondering what he was trying to say. Yeah, I def struggle and the higher your numbers get the more you fight to keep adding lbs to your lifts.
