Thinking about changing up. If you were to buy a new or a couple year old Car/truck/SUV what would you get? I like the 2011 A8 - new cadillac xts - 2010 bmw 7 - 2009 range rover sport turbo These are the ones I have been looking at but open to ideas. These are the TOP end of what I want to spend. I don't want a model in the last year of the current style. Escalades are changing next year so those are out.
These are one I have looked at and liked. I hear Lincoln has a new flagship vehicle coming out in Sept.
So post up what you would do or what you got.
You have good taste... Audi has been looking real nice to me...no play money right now for me tho.... Enjoy what u get keep us posted

I'll go a different route and say Dodge 2500 Cummins diesel, fully loaded. Not only can you haul/tow anything you want, but you can put a couple thousand in the motor and tranny and run 11sec 1/4 miles. And it sounds great and gets 18-21 mpg once you've deleted it (taken off the emissions bullshit).
I may or may not own a Cummins, and I may or may not love the **** outta it.
^^^ Nice truck suggestion.
Too bad they don't seem to offer the Cummins in the Dodge Durango now. Best engine Dodge never made, IMO.
My old Cummins Ram has 400k on it and runs great.

My mate just bought the gt2 Porsche and took me for a rid after the gym.i thought I lost my balls in this car.its a weapon.cost him 380k.
That's a beautiful truck bro. It's been leveled, possibly small lift. If the control arms weren't replace with 1/2 inch longer arms, it may rub the control arms a touch, but it's hard to tell from pics. It's a gorgeous truck that's sitting at a reasonable price right now.
Here's the only thing though, it is not deleted. I know this because it still has a transferable factory warranty, which would be void if it were deleted. The catch 22 is this. If the truck is deleted, it will get 4-6 more mpg, be noticeably faster and torque-ier, sound 100x better, and won't clog up the engine with soot and other emissions. But you lose your warranty, and if you are in a state that actually tests diesels for emissions (mine doesn't) then you won't pass. The thing is, you're going to have a MUCH lesser chance of having engine or transmission issues if you delete, and the early life of the Cummins is very important as far as longevity goes, so by choosing to keep the warranty and not delete, you may be robbing yourself of hundreds of thousands of miles on the ass-end of the truck's life. Do some research on cumminsforum.com and you'll see that it's pretty universally recommended to delete.
The deletes and ancillaries that come with them, will cost you between $2k-2500, not including installation. I factored that in when I bought my truck, and I don't regret it one bit. I get comments wherever I go, and it is an absolute joy to drive. I surprise the hell out of anyone who thinks they're going to blow around the 8000lb truck. With about $3k in mods, I'm pushing a touch over 500 horses and just over 1100 ft/lb torque.
If you decide to go with a Dodge Cummins, you won't be sorry. If you can, test drive one that has been deleted and slightly modified, and I GUARANTEE you'll buy one.
I kinda feel like the odd man here... What else is new.
Me? I'd buy a new Subaru Impreza WRX/STI... 305hp from the factory... I had a WRX that came with 225hp... After putting a few grand into it I was putting out somewhere in the fives... Can't remember exactly it years ago on an 04 Rex. Mostly just airflow items like charge air filter and tube, turbo inlet, intercooler, up-pipe, downpipe and cat-back. Then a tune from Cobb. Damn thing was scary fast. I could get all four wheels burning. Thinned out the fuel a bit too much though and destroyed my motor
Thing with the STI though is when you tune the motor and want to drive it like a psycho, the suspension doesn't need so much work. I had to pour a shitload into the WRX for suspension and brakes.
I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 4x4, love it. Getting ready to put a leveling kit on it, to even things out. If I didnt have this truck, I would get that cadillac truck. I think its the EXT. Nothing drives like a Cadillac..
