It affects me personally because I care about their destiny. If you knew that someone was driving off a cliff but was unaware and had a smile on their face, would it affect you personally? Would you try to warn them? Or say, "what the heck, they're happy... I don't care one way or the other." Of course, this has no meaning for anyone who doesn't believe the Bible, which seems to most in here. Homosexuals are welcome in my church. They will still be performing those acts behind closed doors with or without marriage. As long as they are not harming anyone I don't see why we should make it our business to interfere in theirs.
On the moral side of things I am pretty sure (not 100%) research has shown that People are born gay and that it is in their DNA. So how "moral" is it to be prejudiced against a group of people who can not help who they are.
Here in my state, they are starting to teach about homosexuality in elementary schools...**** THAT!! I dont want my children knowing about that shit, just like i feel sex education should not be taught in public schools and so on. I dont want my children seeing 2 guys or 2 women making out on tv, in public or wherever. Homosexuality is not normal or natural PERIOD! You open the doors to many other things when people travel down this road, yeah its true. Now all of a sudden morals are out the window and everything is justified and tolerable, bullshit.
Are my views or position extreme or "radical"? **** no and i dont and wont apologize for them. This is who I am and what I believe. I have no issue with the homosexual person or individual, I respect them as a individual man or woman, I just dont agree with the behavior or lifestyle...it aint normal.

Raiden I will say I do agree with the not teaching it in sex education. I am very open minded about gay relationships but I think that may be where i would draw a line. I guess that backs up my "I dont care what they do behind closed doors " attitude.
Also as I stated to II I'm not arguing or trying to start a pissing match.Just trying to see both sides of the fence on reasoning.
exactly RR I agree 150%. Its not about pissing match with me, its about the debating, hearing different views and so on. This is how it should be, its healthy. Even though i might not agree with the other side, i respect them and their beliefs, i will defend their right to believe even if we dont agree. If someone asks me for my opinion, they better be prepared to hear it and vice versa...respectfully.

here's my view. I certainly wouldnt want my kid growing up to be gay and i know most here would prefer if their kids were straight. we'd rather have them grow normal and be socially be accepted, rahter than someone who live in the dark in closet. teaching about homosxuality in school is wrong IMO, its almost promoting gay lfestyle. I'm against it.
If "gayness" happens to be a hereditary trait, would fundamentalist Christians still want gay folks to go against their feelings and procreate? This could result in increasing the gay populations, many of which will not agree to go against their feelings. And what use is all this procreation [from any orientation] in this day and age, anyhow? Morals will surely vary, but how about morals for the greater good of mankind, pursuit of happiness, liberty, and all that jazz?
I tend to agree about children needing adoption and people doing as they wish (while not harming others).
I'm a Believer and I don't give 2 shits what people do, just don't try to force your beliefs on me. Marriage definition since The Beginning of time has been between a Man and A Woman. How does it benefit anyone to take one groups beliefs and trample it for anothers ?
So get joined at the court or whatever, just call it something else , gayrriage, union whatever.
I also agree buttsex is gross, Keep your sex to yourself , Hetero's too.

I would suggest a look at History and the decay of Great Civilizations before us. Their downfall started with moral decay. Besides Nature shows it's wrong simply by the FACT Humans would cease to exist if homosexual was normal. Not to mention the terrible diseases it has brought to heterosexuals...ie AID'S HIV,
Couldn't have said it better myself. They should keep the right to be different in anyway but they should have never been allowed to adopt and raise children and do gay parades and shit.
Well I am a Christian. I have always had sorta different thoughts than the church. At this time though I don't see a problem with having the same rights as hetro married couples. I tend to start thinking so deeply though at does the United States really value marriage or is it more of a control issue like slavery during the Civil War.
i think lesbians should be able to get married or a woman can marry into a already married couple, that would be cool.
Do you think it will become law in the America or will it be allowed only in certain states.

Raiden - I was unaware of homosexuality being taught in public schools. My daughter starts kindergarten this fall. How early does that education begin?
