Dog lover here. Dogs will love you unconditionally, will die for you, will do anything for your attention and love. Im a big softie for dogs, especially rottweilers ( starting to get choked up )

Dogs. To raidens point, the only thing dogs want is your attention. It's kinda weird that dogs have emotions.

I spend as much time as I can at the local shelter taking the dogs out of the cages and walking them. It's amazing how many pits you see up there. People turn in their dogs like used cars.

im a dog person, although my mother years ago did bring home a cat and he grew on me and I loved him. He lived to be 14 and I was very upset when he passed. But I would never get another cat. If i were to get another animal it would be a dog, but as SuperG said, I wouldnt have the time to spend with him and give him an enjoyable life. Being locked in the house all day until I get home is not fair to the dog.
