I turned in my document then forgot to call on sunday! I did call today and they said they dont need anymore jurors but i didnt report sunday night .
I am gonna try to get ahold of someone tommorow but ****ing hell they better not hold me in contempt.

I can't speak for your state but where I am they are not particularly vicious about that sort of thing. There is always more jurors than needed.
I'm sure it happens all the time

What's wrong with jury duty? Rr I think u would make a great juror* I went threw a jury trial long ago and it was a hung jury there was one level headed juror in the bunch lol and 2 others who couldnt say I was guilty.... You guys should think twice bout jury duty there's alot of good folks that get jammed up in bad situations.... My .02 anyways lol btw they wanted a retrial an offered me another great deal I told em let's do it again pffffff

I've blown off jury duty twice when my prior state still had my name on their list as a resident. After the second time, I called them and explained that I moved two years ago and was not willing to travel 150 miles.
A few months back, my wife forgot to go in for jury duty. When she called in they said it was fine and they didn't need her anyways because selection had been pushed back.
You should be fine.

To be quite honest, besides the terrible $5/day wage I think it would be interesting to sit through a trial as a juror.. Can you in all seriousness sit back and say it wouldn't have been interesting to be a part of the OJ Simpsons trial or even as sick as it was the Scott Peterson trial.. So much happens within the closed doors of a court room that we'll never get to see or here unless we were there.. I'm sure it's not for everyone, just how I look at it..
Jail isn't that bad RR, you'll be fine. Learn how to play Spades before you get there so you can win some coffee and Cup o Soups.
I was able to call and reschedule my "time" . They were very understanding.
And yes consider me a nerd but I actually am interested in doing this .I was pissed when I forgot because this is the only time I have ever received jury duty
