2 and a ahalf weeks ago i tore both upper and lower Petalla tendons and 8 days ago went into surgery. So Of course I cant squat yet but I can still do upper body and work my left knee back to shape.

Currently 268 @ 6'

I was going for a PR on squat @735 when I tore my tendon and it was the weight is was the spot and the equipment that i used. Should of used a mono lift but the gym I go to doesnt have one.
Today my workout was to see exactly where I was and how It would be to bench with a emobilized leg. not as bad as I thought.

Flat Bench
w/fat gripz
bar * 20
135 * 20
225 * 10
275 * 5

Remove fat gripz
315 * 3
275 * 10,10,10,10,10,10,6,6

Incline bench
225 * 10,10,10,10,10

seated DB tricep Ext
85 * 15,15,15,15

BW dips
10
Added resistance 40lbs ( Lot of energy to to up with out second leg)
10,10,10,10

Not bad for just getting back. happy to just be back

So today was day 1 of physical therapy. Left leg has a 45 degree bend and right has a 137 degree bend. Got a long way to go. Good news is that I get staples out on Friday. After the gym !!!

sorry to hear about the knee JB. i am glad to hear you are getting back into the swing of things.... although i figured you would be back to the iron room as soon as possible... or even before it was possible lol.

what is the physical therapist having you do for rehab work?

Right now just trying to get the ROM back. Luckily my legs are strong because I can already lift the leg. But the ROM is more important right now.
