Every woman struggling with weight loss whether it's five to ten vanity pounds or a massive weight loss overhaul wants to know what is the best way for women to lose weight. It's a good question to ask especially with fad diets, pills, potions, lotions, and creams promising to melt those pounds away while you sleep. If only it were that simple.

Despite all the great fad diets on the market there are still two contenders that deliver the total knock-out punch with every opponent they come up against for sustainable weight loss result. They are a nutritious diet and a sensible fitness routine.

I know it sounds like a broken record but if you want to lose weight, especially if you want to lose any significant amount of weight you're going to have to make some adjustments in your diet, your activity level, or both. The best results come when you decrease the calories you're taking in while also increasing the calories you're burning off.

Diets for Those Seeking the Best Way for Women to Lose Weight

There are all kinds of diets you can try. If you want to see real progress in your efforts to take off the pounds though you are going to have to find a diet that doesn't feel as though you're being deprived. It's hard to do I know but try including the following foods in your daily diet:

1) Eat whole grains whenever possible
Your body needs grains in order to function properly. This means that you need grains to help your body flush those fats out of your system. Substitute whole grains for your regular breads, pastas, muffins, and even cereal and compare how much "fuller" you feel after meals. It makes more of a difference than you might realize. You need several servings each day so be liberal with whole grains for the purpose of your diet.

2) Water
Your body needs plenty of water when you're dieting more than ever. Water will assist you in washing toxins out of your body and help you stay hydrated as you exercise. Water also makes you feel full. Try drinking a full 8 ounce glass of water prior to every meal and see if you find yourself feeling less hungry.

3) Lean proteins
Your goal when dieting is to build lean muscle. Muscle helps burn calories, even when resting so the more muscles you build the better. Lean proteins give your body the fuel it needs to develop these muscles and see the leaner you in the mirror much more quickly. Don't eliminate all protein from your diet during this important time or you might find that you are actually sabotaging your chances for success.
Combine these diet tips with the elimination of saturated fats, alternating days of a serious cardio workout with other exercises you enjoy (and probably a few you don't enjoy quite as much) and you should begin to see results fairly quickly. More importantly you'll have the "skinny" on the best way for women to lose weight.

I keep the same diet year round. Whole grains, green veggies, white fish, tuna and chicken. It works great!

Eat less...why the **** is this so hard? Doens't matter if you're a woman or a man. Eat less, lose weight. Don't need rocket surgery to figure this one out.

Absolutely must cut out fruits even though there are many vitamins and anti oxidants it does not help when your trying to lose weight or maintain weight loss.
