New program thanks to Tenacious A....oops too bad I somehow I got the papers shuffled and started on Week 4! Whoops! Nice way to start a program. I figured it out about at the lat pulldowns. Oh well. I skipped the pull ups because back was getting a bit tight. Since my little max out on squat, back has been a little tight. No worries. Just my body paying me back for being dumb. But, got a new program. So I will see what WEEK 1 has in store for me tomorrow and go from there. Probably do 3 cycles of this or so and see if I am strong enough to do a meet.

Well they say the definition of "insanity" is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The original Cube was about the only program I did not deviate from or skip or miss a rep. So, I'm going to try to do this, and see. As Tenacious said, I will probably do 3 cycles of it and that will put me around the end of March or so and we will see if I got stronger. There is a meet late March and one in April, but for now, it's not about doing a meet and more about hitting my goals.

Monster bench. Nice work.

Thank, FLEX, it's getting their. Fat bar adds a degree of difficulty and tends to be murder on your shoulders and wrists, but if you can take it, once you switch to a competition bar, you manhandle it. I walk the line often between training and overtraining. I just need to be cognizant. I think this program AND following it will help.

Im hoping to this Spring. I would like to do a full power meet. I have been a bench only guy for a long time, but I would like to show myself that I can do all three lifts efficiently. Not to mention, I think it commands more respect in the powerlifting community if you do all three. Not to say that if you are a 700 raw bench only guy people don't respect you, but in my case, I'm not benching 700 raw. LOL. My hope is maybe late March or April. By then, I should have done three cycles of the Cube Predator. Hopefully cock diesel strong and ready to smoke some weight. A 2000+ total at 242 would be very nice. Diet needs to happen and my lifts need to elevate.
