Hey folks,

It's nice to be here at TID. I decided to attempt my first show.

I was 265lbs in June when I decided to take the plunge, so I've made a lot of progress since.

Current stats:

6'2"
235lbs
8% bf

Cutting hard right now. Reduction of carbs is killing me....lol!

Cheers!

Take your first show as a learning experience, do your best, and have fun!!

Also, remember, you can't control who else will show up, so you're really competing against yourself, so that each time you step on stage you're bringing your best condition to date.

Cycling the carbs sucks, but it does work so stay the course!

BTW, pics look very good. You've got a lot of muscle there. (no homo) LOL

That's some rapid fat loss. Nice job and good luck. Let us know how it goes.

I don't know where I'll be until a few days out.

I can't see myself being that light, but we'll see. I'm not sure what the weight classes are like in the US, but here in Canada the cut off for light heavy is just under 200lbs.

I haven't really been focusing on numbers and just paying close attention to my body. Just a guess, and going by my progress, I "think" I'll end up around 220lbs or a little shy, once water is off ect.
